![]() Even that is usually curling up by the morning. The DreamWay unit is made up of a 10-inch hose and universal port which connects to your existing 6-foot or 7-foot CPAP supply line. Bleep DreamPorts are disposable adhesive covers for the nostrils for use with the Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution Nasal Mask. Im using plain old paper tape from 3M I bought at Harris Teeter and it works. The DreamPort Sleep Solution consists of a DreamWay base unit and 32 pairs of disposable DreamPorts (a 1-month supply). ![]() I tried the cut pieces and had the same issue. I have also replaced the short hose with a more flexible hose, use a filter to diffuse the exhaust, and use the hose management system Stuart has suggested. I just apply one of the end pieces of adhesive that I have cut off and that works to seal the leak for the rest of the night. That said, I do occasionally have what I can best describe as "tunneling," where the adhesive loosens and a tunnel forms causing a leak. My first 14 months on CPA, I probably went through 14 different masks! Mostly on my own cost! Once the Bleep came out, I have used it exclusively and it has solved all the issues/problems I had. Each box comes with 32 patches for 16 nights of use. I agree, the Bleep is the best mask I have used as well! I had so much trouble finding a mask I could use/tolerate. DreamPort Adhesive Patches are designed exclusively for use with the Bleep DreamWay Interface and the Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution CPAP Interface. Id also recommend looking at the hose management system Stuart recommends. Each box comes with 32 patches for 16 nights of use. I ended up getting a Resmed mask off Ebay and cutting the hose and replacing the stuff one. I tried a couple of things including using adhesive prep pads like they use for IVs and finally found if I use regular medical tape on top of the ports, MOST nights I can make it through the night without springing a leak.īecause of the long prep, I dont use the Bleep every night but I use it more than everything else and the nights I dont use it, I can really tell the difference. For a long time I had issues with the adhesive giving up around 3AM and Id get woken up with air blowing in my eyes. ![]() Sadly Im in the 2% of the population that the adhesive wont stay on with over a few hours. Its by far the best mask I have ever used. ![]()
